Hidey Ho Folks!!  Well, it's that time of year again, POST SEASON!!!!  This is my favorite time of year for college softball!  There is so much emotion and passion rolled up into these last few weeks that it almost makes me dizzy!  It is truly bittersweet for me, as this is my first complete class I have seen through this program.  These were my baby freshman 4 years ago when I started here at Ohio State, and now I get to be here with them as they hopefully finish their careers with a bang.  It has been such a pleasure to see these players grow into fantastic young women and I definitely know there are great things in store for them in the future! 

Now back to ball. Haha!  We are hosting our 3rd regional in 4 years, which is amazing!!  We are hosting Cal, Kentucky, and Bucknell and are eagerly anticipating this weekend's games.  It's been a crappy rainy week here in columbus, so we are hoping the weather will clear up for some great softball!  We open up on Friday, May 21st vs. the Kentucky Wildcats at 7:30pm at Buckeye Field.  I get to face off with one of my best friends Lyndsey Angus who is their assistant coach!  We already have a nice round of trash talk going between us. haha. 

We will not take anything for granted this weekend.  We will play every inning with as much passion, excitement, and determination as we can.  We have 7 girls leaving us this year and they are driven to make Ohio State History!  Wish us luck!  I also want to wish all my softball sisters and brothers out there who are fighting the same battle in their regionals, so go get em!!!  Hope to see you in OKC!
